After a long haul night flight from Heathrow via Frankfurt I arrived in sunny Cape Town.
The afternoon was spent catching up with friends at the V&A Waterfront and enjoying lunch and drinks at Quay Four.
The Waterfront was buzzing with tourists enjoying the afternoon sunshine.
I was so happy to be back in one of my favourite cities and enjoying the welcoming ambiance of Africa.
A visit to the V&A Waterfront would not be complete without some time for retail therapy.
Time for an afternoon nap at my hotel, “The Commodore” before pre-dinner drinks at the Mount Nelson Hotel.
Time to embark on the St Helena for a 5 day cruise.
Laden with passengers and cargo we finally depart
Cape Town for St Helena.
Then it was all about meeting new friends at sea.
Hello Sandy, how's it going in paradise?! Hope you're having a great time; did your dad keep back a few of those bananas on his tree for you to enjoy for breakfast? I hope so! Life is still great here in Pfizer paradise! Take care. Wishing you a beautiful week! x
